Dr. Neeta wrote her paper with the title “Prachalit Uttar Hindustani Kantha Sangeetatil Rag badhati madhye swara lagavanche mahatwa” (The importance of note-application in Raga-expansion in contemporary North-Indian classical vocal music). Without note application, the Raga-construction cannot take place. Proper application of notes has to be learnt directly from a Guru and has to be mastered with regular practice.

Dr. neeta Bhabhe’s research was about veracities of note-application, under the guidance of Dr. N.V. Diwan and Mrs. Shobhatai Gurjar.
